In a one-time event, we opened plant-based restaurant in the heart of Cologne. With it, we wanted to help Burger King make a point. On that would excite our guests, and not just their taste buds, we wanted to treat their eyeballs too. That's why we transformed the outdoor surfaces over two floors and replaced all menu boards, self-ordering terminals, partition walls and posters. The new colorful plant-based look sparked curiosity and attracted more guests than expected. Everyone loved it so much, the product range was completely sold out in only 2 days. But that was no problem for our cooperation partner "The Vegetarian Butcher" - because he delivered supplies without further ado.
The Vegetarian King was the talk of the town: fans, influencers and YouTubers reported on the innovative restaurant via Burger King social media channels. Dozens of press and TV reports followed. With the restaurant, we won not only the hearts of our fans – our plant-based menu proved one thing above all: we are always on fire for 100% taste, even at 0% meat.
