BURGER KING - The spoiler WHOPPER®.

Ta-tatataaa-taaaa! One week before the premiere of the last part of the most famous space saga of all time, BURGER KING confronted film fans with a galactic decision: were they willing to have their favourite film spoilt for a free WHOPPER®? Get all the secrets, all the plot points, all the punch lines beforehand?

To find out, we integrated a special voucher into the BURGER KING smartphone app, which could only be activated by voice recognition. To activate this voucher, users had to woefully read a spoiler text for their beloved film, which was checked in real time by our speech recognition software. Only those who read them out were eligible for a free WHOPPER®. And to show the entertaining desperation that such a thing can cause in these customers, we converted an entire BURGER KING restaurant where all products were free of charge, but the names were changed into spoiler text. So the customers had to read the spoilers out loud to get a WHOPPER® or fries for free. First of all, the whole promotion went through the roof. And second, it went straight to the TV news.
