He started as a graphic designer and now teaches design research in Hamburg and several other universities around the world. He has a focus on social design e.g., from the perspective of gender or activism. On our Senfsofa, we had the opportunity to learn about aspects of inclusion and design. As advertising people, we have a great deal of leverage providing access to big portions of the media to people with impairments. Additionally, our communication has the power to define what’s considered “normal”. In a broad overview he highlighted a lot of perspectives on how to use this power wisely.
